I was introduced to pornography as a young child. I was affected greatly by it. It is a stronghold, but there is nothing too hard for God. I married a man who is addicted to pornography and it almost destroyed our marriage. My marriage is a difficult one, but I believe that this was God’s way of mirroring first my own addiction, its stronghold, its deception, and its destruction; my granddaughter was introduced to pornography at the age of 9, maybe earlier, my son has started therapy with her, so that its stronghold won’t destroy her life; my family I believe have been affected deeply with this subtle evil; I am very concerned about the members in our Church; we are being preached the word of God, although, I feel our pastor is a not aware of some of the signs of porn addictions, we like a lot of Churches are consumed with various addictions including pornography, so I appreciate a ministry such as this one; I know that God is in control; and God places people and resources in one’s life to help us make it to the finish line. We are going through the books of Philippians and Colossians and we desire your prayers and any help you can provide, we need each other; and those of us who believe God know He is able to help us to become and to be conformed to the image of His Son and God is the only one who can do it, God bless you and your ministry.

Thank-you for sharing your story. Is there material for how wives can be a help and how they can survive and overcome such betrayal?
