As teenagers back in the 60’s, my then girl friend and now wife of 51 years, Cheryl, regularly visited Clyde and Gerrie’s barn in Portland Maine. It was definitely the “hot spot” for the kids from First Baptist Church, at that time in the down town area of Portland. I was, at that time, much like Clyde, and really turned my life over to the Lord later in life. As such Gerri was not enthusiastic over Cheryl’s and my going together, let alone getting married. God, however, knew the future that Gerri couldn’t know, and today, after 51 years we love each other more than we did then. We have three children, two boys and a girl, who know the Lord. We all were saddened when Clyde and Gerri left Portland, but are thrilled to hear their stories on the radio. Richard
