An abusive childhood left John with deep emotional wounds, which festered into a simmering rage that followed him into adulthood and marriage. Tony grew up feeling unwanted and unloved. Even after marrying and starting a family of his own, his anger led to verbal and physical abuse. But God can restore even the hardest of hearts as well as marriages and families.

How relevant this is to me at the moment. My marriage is on the rocks. I am a Christian, though a fallen one, and I have found God to be there for me at this difficult time. It is so heartening to hear how God has turned around broken lives and relationships to his glory. It is wonderful to hear how these people have turned there lives around with God’s love. Glory to him in the highest. Amen.

PAUL, Hang in there. You are not alone. I joined the Army to help me with my anger. LOL…This is the short of my story. Just know that I will pray for you and ask that you do the same. In Christ! Jason

My husband was physically and verbally abused. We have been married 42 years and there have been some great experiences but many times I’ve been pushed away….not physically but just through being ignored and tuned out. I am born again through Christ and there is such JOY in my heart ….but not a joy my husband can share or relate to. He doesn’t seem to have joy. We’ve had 2 children and both are married and we’ve recently become grandparents for the first time….but TV seems to be the most important thing in my husbands life. I’m having a great deal of difficulty knowing how to cope with this as we near retirement. I’m getting very discouraged.
