This was so exciting to hear someone else’s story that was so similar to my own, growing up in Africa on the mission field,, thank you.

This story spoke to my heart. It is a story to share with my friends, women who lost children, women who are bewildered by such loss. It is 31 years New Years Eve that my son Andrew died, living with his loss disabled me, I was never the same, God led me and fed me and I learned many positive lessons, I was able to go forth and help others but the loss never goes away, I love my son as much as ever and I miss him always. I still have very dark days sometimes but my faith is the candle I carry.

Hi I’m Lusette A. I am truly touched my Nicole’s story about her lifes journey. Thank you Nicole for sharing your story. I really enjoy hearing you sing. God uses your voice to minister to me. I love hearing you sing. I especially like when you sang ” I need thee every hour.” I am realizing every day that I can’t make it without my LORD not even for a second of the day. May God bless you and family Nicole Sponberg. I love you very much.

Nicol, Made my heart cry for her as I have a Cerebal Palsy daughter and I know how she is feeling. And my favourite old hymm is The OLD RUGGED CROSS. I’d love to have a copy of Nicol’s CD’s. Love Annette.

Thanks for your encouragement, Annette. It is truly amazing to me how we who follow Christ can connect with one another, especially through shared experiences, circumstances and, most importantly, God’s love! ~ Barbara

Thank you for sharing Nicol…especially for those of us who have also lost a child…you say and feel the things that we say and feel…and you’re right there is a comfort in being around those who know this grief…who don’t constantly try to pre-determine what we are thinking and feeling at any given time. God bless.

Powerful. We have mutual friends, so I’ve known a bit of your personal story but certainly not to this depth. Thank you for sharing it. God is using you.
