Is God really enough? In the face of losing a child, the grief can feel overwhelming. But as Mindy and Arlen found, God is more than enough. Discover God’s comfort and security for whatever you’re facing, even when you grieve.
Since the time Arlen's story was recorded, Hannah's cancer has returned. She has just completed a round of chemotherapy and they are planning a second transplant using Chandra's blood sometime in May. The family has asked that we please pray for Hannah's complete healing.

This story touched my heart because Mindy spoke of thoughts and emotions that I struggled with, when my son was diagnosed with aplastic anaemia. He loved God and insisted he was going home despite seemingly making progress, I echoed Mindy’s words, oh how wonderful it was to hear her parents reaction for I received people who kept saying, ‘Praise the Lord Andrew is in heaven.’ I did not want to praise the Lord. I believed God would heal him and when he didn’t I was angry. Time led me on a journey that showed me that God does not do these things, the environment killed my son, the world becomes more and more toxic. We blame God for what man does, there is a consequence for stuff used to kill weeds, flying in a plane, nuclear power. I saw life differently. I learned about God’s love and how he has purpose. The loss of my son changed me forever but God showed me new things and helped me understand the world is not a safe place we have to trust him.
