Illness is something that affects us all. But many people struggle with an illness that cannot be seen. Lakisha and Amy share how God comforted them in the midst of mental illness. They found life and hope in Him and in the “words to live by” found in Scripture.

This is an excellent challenge this week. Until I came to realize I had a mental health issue (some type of brain damage) I didn’t understand the far reaching effects in one’s life of having to say, I have a mental health issue. I basically thought of mental health problems as strange and dangerous or obvious from birth or very similar and extensive, visually obvious. But now I realize those horrible words, “But you don’t look sick” to be very disingenuous and discouraging. Thank you for this presentation.
One problem with this broadcast was being told of the video “Grace For Troubled Minds” being an Our Daily Bread video. I have searched and I cannot find a heading ‘Our Daily Bread Video’, only Day of Discovery Video. I used the search in the upper right hand part of the Words to Live By screen. This is somewhat discouraging because I really wanted to watch the video mentioned. Please help with this.
