Marion cherished her free time, what little she had of it. As a wife, mother, and writer, it seemed she was always so busy! That’s why when the Lord laid it on her heart to give even more of herself by taking in two abandoned children, she hesitated. Marion shares how she learned that what God calls us to do, He equips us to do.

I’m so saddened to hear of her passing. Just today, 10/4/15, I read one of her devotionals on the ODB-Words to Live By website. It was the first time I heard or read anything by her. The devotional was very touching and a great blessing to me. So, I wanted to find out more about her. And I find that she has passed. I know she is in a better place. When I saw that she had written a book called “It’s Just You and Me Lord!” – it really touched me, even brought tears to my eyes. I am not a writer, but I’ve started lately writing/journaling – mostly letters to God about various things. Then one day decided to make the title and header “Its Just You and Me Lord!” For some reason this has really touched me. I pray for the family and all those she has touched in her life! Thank you Lord – From Michigan.
